Up to now 130 phantoms have lived in today's Skopje . There have not been found any written evidence of their existence until the middle of the 20th century. According to the investigation carried out from 2002 to 2005, in the disastrous earthquake in 1963, 95 phantoms were killed, 21 settled on the surrounding hills, while 7 stayed in Skopje until 2007, when all of them disappear.
The texts, drawings and the events are described according to the testimony of the people who have seen them or have had direct contact with them.
This is an homage to the lost phantoms of the city.
Kef
The Kef phantom was spotted, for the first time, by the famous philosopher Kiril Temkov and the theater devotee, Ljubisa Nikodinovski - Bish, who were walking barefoot in the Skopje city square inspired by the legendary happenings of the 1968.
Later, around the mid-90's, in the times when the square became a gathering place of the young and avant-garde people, Kef was noticed having a debate with the famous artist Robotec. One night in August, a cistern of Komunalec, better known among the youths as "bad trip", cleaning the square caught the phantom and he ended in the waters of Vardar . Some of those who saw him claim that he lives on the roof of a house in the village of Dobreica , Strumica.
