While Lichenovski, Martinovski and Pandilov * were using motifs from the Macedonian region and created works of art with fine manners and expressions closely related to impressionism, Svirakus applied the experience of Dadaism and surrealism in his own work.
The work Casanova (1935) dates from that period.
